I was drowning in documents when he stopped by my table
and called out my name.
“Yes?” I answered, looking up at him warily with tired eyes.
He paused a bit, before saying:
“I haven’t seen you smile today.”
I forced one out, he nodded and headed back to his table.
I went back to work.
A few seconds later, a real one spread across my face, and warmed me right up...
